Reviews: Kroger Skillet Meals
The holidays was a busy time filled with fun parties, big meals and exciting celebrations. However, with all of these events you don't leave much time to cook a time consuming meal for your family. Kroger has made a skillet meal that is so simple and quick to make to get dinner on the table so that you can move on to more important things like sitting down at the table with the family and enjoying each others company.
Kroger Skillet Meals are ready in just 10 minutes. They contain two hearty servings per bag and have at least 20 grams of protein per serving. Enjoy a nice variety of flavors like Tuscan-Style Penne, Sausage Rigatoni, Penne with Grilled Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Beef and Chicken Fajitas. To complete your meal, just pair Kroger Skillet Meals with your favorite sides, Kroger Garlic Bread, and Fresh Selections Salad Kits.
In my Official BzzKit I received a free product coupon for a Kroger Skillet Meal, Kroger Garlic Bread, and Fresh Selections Salad Kits. I usually buy the Fresh Selections Salad Kits for my husband to enjoy. He really likes the Caesar Lite Salad. He thinks the salad is fresh and crunchy. He also likes that it comes with all that you need to make the salad in the bag. Just put the ingredients in a bowl and you are done! Just look at that yummy salad he made. We both really liked the Kroger Garlic Bread (actually this was the Fred Meyer Garlic Bread they offered at my store). It came out exactly the way I liked it. The crust was crispy but not too hard, while the center was nice and soft. The amount that came in the bag was a very nice amount as well. The garlic bread was also really easy to make. Just stick it in the oven and bake for about twenty minutes. For the Kroger Skillet Meal I choose to get the Sausage Rigatoni since I love Italian food. It was just a tad spicy for me and the sausage was not what I was expecting because they tasted like turkey and not the pork I would of preferred. It tasted alright but I'll probably try a different flavor next time I go to purchase these. I do love how super easy this was to make though. Just pour the contents into a skillet and heat for about ten minutes. The sauce is frozen in small batches with makes the cooking process a lot quicker. I did like how this was a simple complete meal to make when time is of the essence.
