Last summer I reviewed the Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted and liked it and so I was interested in trying out Honey Bunches of Oats newest flavor Tropical Blends. I first smelled the cereal right after I opened the box and thought it smelled interesting. It wasn't an overpowering odor. Below is a picture of what the cereal looks like in a bowl so you can sort of see the detail of what it looks like. You can definitely see those pieces of dried coconut and mango. As to how it tasted, well I would say it's a taste that grows on you. My husband and I both thought it was ok but we prefer the Honey Roasted flavor. I'm not the biggest fan of mango so I didn't care for the mango flavors. My husband thought it was too fruity of a flavor. I do like that it has whole grains, is heart healthy, and has nine essential vitamins and minerals which are good for me. I do like that Honey Bunches of Oats makes so many other flavors to enjoy so that I don't get bored when I eat their cereals.
