I had never heard of the brand MI-DEL so when a blogger friend of mine told me about MI-DEL wanting bloggers to write a review I decided to contact them and see if I could participate. MI-DEL sent me a nice MI-DEL Welcome Kit, which will included: three free product coupons, information about MI-DEL Cookies along with some yummy recipe ideas, three winner kits for my giveaway (postage paid envelopes with one free product coupon and MI-DEL product information).
Since I had never heard of MI-DEL I wanted to make sure this product was sold in a store near me. So I looked up each product on their store locator and found a few that are sold at the Fred Meyer. I then went to Fred Meyer and picked up a bag of MI-DEL Gluten-Free Ginger Snaps, MI-DEL Gluten-Free Arrowroot Cookies, and MI-DEL Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies (see picture above of the packages).
First I'll be upfront about this, I have never really eaten a product that specifically said Gluten-Free on it so my review is based on this. I shared these cookies with my husband and he thought they were alright. The chocolate chip cookie had a crunch to them and I liked the taste of the chocolate chips in them. The Arrowroot cookies are in the shape of animals which I liked. I also liked their slightly sweet taste to them. I like the spicy ginger taste of the ginger snaps and the crisp taste that ginger snaps are known for. The above photo is of the cookies (chocolate chip, arrowroot, and ginger snap).
These cookies are good if you have sensitivities to gluten but anyone can enjoy them. I found them to be pretty good and really enjoyed the arrowroot cookies the most.
You can check out MI-DEL's website, "like" MI-DEL on Facebook or follow MI-DEL on Twitter if you'd like more information about their products and company.
*NOTE: I was given three free product coupons to write this review along with some informational material. I also received three three winner kits for my giveaway which I had (postage paid envelopes with one free product coupon and MI-DEL product information).
I would like to try the chocolate chip cookies.

I think I will try the Ginger Snap cookies. Those sound yummy!! Thanks Judy Jewel
ReplyDeleteI love Chocolate and so I would love to try the Chocolate Snaps. They sound like they'd be good to "dunk into a glass of milk", like I like to do with graham crackers and ginger snaps or I'd like to break them up and add them to vanilla ice cream or make little "ice cream sandwiches" with them!! I haven't heard of this brand before, so will be interested in trying it and finding it in my store!!
