Introducing Stress Less, Trudeau's newest line of kitchen gadgets.

The six products in this line are:

2. Stress Less Easy Grind Salt Mill
3. Stress Less Pizza Cutter
4. Stress Less Rotary Cheese Grater
5. Stress Less Safety Can Opener
6. Stress Less Garlic Press

A blogger friend told me about Trudeau Corporation's newest line of kitchen gadgets and told me they were looking for bloggers to write a review and do a giveaway.  I decided to contact Trudeau and told them I was interested.  They sent me the six products mentioned above (also shown in the picture above) to try out.  Here is my review for each of the six products.

1. Stress Less Easy Grind Pepper Mill
I love the look of this pepper mill.  I love how you can see the pepper inside the pepper mill.  I always like to see how much I have left in the containers I use so I know when it is going to be empty and need to refill it.  The pepper mill is so easy to  use.  You just turn the handle and out comes the pepper.  You can even adjust the knob at the top of it to make the pepper more or less coarse depending on your tastes.  I found using this Stress Less Easy Grind Pepper Mill simple to use.  No more accidentally shaking too much pepper onto my food!

2. Stress Less Easy Grind Salt Mill
As with the Stress Less Easy Grind Pepper Mill, I love the look of this salt mill and that you can see the level of salt within.  I'll be honest, I didn't know that salt looks like this before it is ground up to what I'm used to when I buy it at the store.  The salt mill can be adjusted as well to make the salt as fine or as coarse as you'd like it.  The Stress Less Easy Grind Salt Mill is also simple to use as well.  Plus I love that I won't have to worry about shaking too much salt into my food and worry about my sodium intake!

3. Stress Less Pizza Cutter
I made a pizza (or two) just to test the Stress Less Pizza Cutter out.  The pizza cutter wheel is a nice size so it's perfect for deep dish pizzas.  I found cutting with this pizza cutter rather easy.  It was simple to use and did a good job cutting the pizza.  A neat feature to the Stress Less Pizza Cutter is that the cutting wheel can be removed for easy cleaning.  I will admit I had a hard time popping it off the first couple times using it and was also afraid of it.  This was mainly due to the fact that I'm afraid of knives and hate to use them so I was afraid that it would pop up and hurt me.  Plus once you take it off you have to put it on and I found that to be scary too for fear of cutting my hand with the cutter as I put it back on the handle.  To get over this fear I used a towel and a pot holder to remove and replace it.  This helped me a lot.  By the way, it cleans just fine if you choose not to remove the cutter from the handle as I did that too.

4. Stress Less Rotary Cheese Grater
I bought a two pound brick of medium cheddar cheese for meal I was making and needed two cups of shredded cheese.  I figured this was a good way to try out this grater.  First I learned the the cheese needed to be cut up so it fits inside the grater so that the spring loaded door (nice feature) can shut on it to push the cheese into the stainless steel grating drum.  Once I learned that it made grating the cheese easier.  However, I'm not sure the cheese that I used made it easier to grate.  The Stress Less Rotary Cheese Grater is designed for grating cheese finely so it took me awhile to get two cups of cheese.  The cheese didn't always fall out of the grater and I had to help get it out with my fingers.  A neat feature of this cheese grater is that it can be used for right or left-handers!  Cleaning the Stress Less Rotary Cheese Grater is easy to clean.  I did have an issue of removing the handle to remove the grating drum but that was quickly solved after I checked to see which way to rotate the handle for it to be loosened.

5. Stress Less Safety Can Opener
The Stress Less Safety Can Opener was my favorite kitchen gadget in this bunch.  It is also used the most at our house.  When I first learned about Trudeau I was curious as to this can opener.  I watched the video on their site and immediately knew I wanted to try out this product.  To me the best feature of this can opener is the cutting mechanism because it leave no sharp edges!  The lids of the can are easily removed with the touchless lid removal pliers that are located on the right side of the can opener.  At first I couldn't tell that the can opener was actually working because it didn't look to me that the lid was cut but after using the pliers to remove the lid I knew it worked.  I tried opening many cans of different sizes and it worked great.  It even can open many cans that don't need a can opener and you just open with the ring that's on them.  I loved this since I don't like the lip that the pull-top can creates when you remove the lid.

6. Stress Less Garlic Press
First, I am not a big garlic person but I do use it if it is called for in a recipe.  I specifically tried a recipe that had garlic in it just for trying out the garlic press.  I did like that I could place it on the counter (or a sturdy plate) and use my body weight to press the garlic out.  This made pressing the garlic easy for me.  I had a hard to removing the excess garlic from the press before I realized the the press chamber swings open. I did find lifting the press chamber to swing it open was a little hard to do at first but it wasn't too bad. Cleaning the Stress Less Garlic Press is fairly easy to do since the press chamber swings open.  I also used a toothpick to help get the left over garlic pieces out of the holes of the garlic press which worked great.

  2. "No Mess" 2 piece Utensil Pot Clips! How cool are these? I would like to try these out first because I am always making such a mess with my spoons and spatulas while I cook. These look like they would definitely come in handy to me. Thanks!

  3. The Enora Pepper and Salt grinders would be fantastic! My current grinder is the kind you twist like a door knob and it always feels like my hand will fall off before I get the amount of pepper I want on my food.

  4. I would like to try the pizza cutter. We have pizza usually about once a week and it has been a pain to cut into slices.

  5. I'd like to try the garlic press. Right now, I smash a garlic clove with a back end of a knife and I know that the proper tool is better for this task.
