Reviews: Gorton's Wicked Good Seafood

Since 1849, Americans have trusted Gorton’s Seafood for all the seafood they crave.  From comfort food favorites to irresistible premium selections to tasty choices that will help make sticking to your diet easy, Gorton's offers a wide variety of delicious seafood options, all with 0 grams trans fat.  Gorton's Seafood is the easy way to eat fish every week!

Gorton's Seafood is so wicked good.  Both in health and in taste.  First, Gorton's Seafood is wicked good for you in that it contains natural omega-3 fatty acids, lean protein, and critical vitamins and minerals that can aid brain development, promote heart health, help fight obesity and improve your overall health.  They also have twenty varieties that are 200 calories or less per serving.  If you are on a gluten-free diet, you'll be happy to know that all of their grilled seafood (except for their shrimp) are gluten-free.

I was given five free product coupons to try out some of Gorton's Seafood and decided to try some new products I had never had before.  I tried the Gorton's Classic Grilled Salmon, Gorton's Lemon Pepper Grilled Fillets, Gorton's Crunchy Breaded Clams, Gorton's Skillet Crisp Tilapia Classic Seasoning and Gorton's Skillet Crisp Tilapia Garlic & Herb.  Below is my seafood feast of those products.

I first tried the Gorton's Crunchy Breaded Clams.  I had never tried clams before as I'm not the hugest fan of seafood and have always been resistant to try it.  However, I figured it was worth a try especially since they are breaded.  I thought they were ok but did enjoy the crunchy breading.  Next, I thought I'd try the Gorton's Classic Grilled Salmon and Gorton's Lemon Pepper Grilled Fillets.  Both of these were just ok.  I did like how tender and flaky they both were.  Finally, I tried the Gorton's Skillet Crisp Tilapia Classic Seasoning and Gorton's Skillet Crisp Tilapia Garlic & Herb.  Since it showed a skillet and said the word "Skillet" in the name for these products I thought you had to cook these in a skillet.  I was wrong though as you cook these just like you cook all of the other Gorton's Seafood.  As for how these tasted, I would say these two were the best of the bunch.  I really liked these and as I said earlier, I'm not the biggest fan of seafood.  I really like the crisp coating on these tilapia.  They are also seasoned really well too.  Besides the Gorton's Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks which is usually the only type of seafood I'll eat, I think I have found a new favorite seafood to enjoy!

  1. I would like to try some of the grilled fillets because all the frozen seafood I've had before has been fried. For example, the Italian herb grilled fillets
